Biography
Amy C. Hirsh is an experienced attorney who represents and counsels employers in all aspects of employment law, with an emphasis on single plaintiff discrimination, retaliation, and harassment cases, and wage and hour class actions. Ms. Hirsh advises employers regarding employment policies and procedures, disability accommodations, leaves of absence, harassment investigations, employee discipline and discharges, employee classification and pay practices, litigation avoidance, and administrative proceedings. Additionally, Ms. Hirsh negotiates separation agreements, executive employment agreements, and other employment-related contracts. With a background in management, Ms. Hirsh brings a practical business-oriented view to the table in her practice.
In addition to practicing law, Ms. Hirsh serves as an adjunct professor of employment law, contract law, and tort law. She is active in her community, including serving on the site council of an elementary school and in various capacities with her local BSA Scout units. Ms. Hirsh enjoys being outdoors with her family, exploring all that the Bay Area and beyond has to offer.
